Hamstrings can pull at anytime, especially if it's tender and getting worked on daily. Smith will have a hard time shaking this the next month or so...so I guess you could say "Do the trade"! I too like Fitz better "this season" anyway.

No way. Steve Smith is going to play. If not this week, then definately next week. Fitzgerald is inconsistant in terms of fantasy production due to Anquan Boldin. The only way I would make that trade is if the person traded another player with Fitz for Smith. Remember that player injuries is why we draft bench players. Just hang tight, start another WR until Smith is healthy and relax. He will do you right in the end.

I agree with what the other folks have said here. Smith is dynamite but the hammy could drag out for a while.
Another thing to consider is that Warner is the Cards QB so it's a matter of not if - but when - he will go down and Fitz winds up with a rookie throwing to him.

I would get fitz because you never know if steve smith will be weathly into week 3 and the injury could effect smith later into the year. You don't have to worry about fitz.

Yes because Larry is healthy and Steve isn't.

The Cardinals are one good hit away from starting Leinart. Warner is very fragile so you have to consider that with Fitzgerald. Warner could help you put up good numbers with Fitzgerald, or he could crumble like a stale cookie.

it would be a gamble. u got the cards maybe breaking out. but the panthers are always on the cusp of roiding back to another superbowl. steve's injury is potentially season affecting. but the cardinals? its a great dilemma. after i found out about steve's injury i moved him to 32 in my draft order. and larry stayed at 18 overall. i think i would do it.

Smith is a playmaker and once he's back in the game he's going to want the ball and make up for lost time.

I'd much rather have Fitz...Smith is damaged goods, and Fitz is a healthy stud.
