The purpose of our existence is to allow the full intensity of your spiritual self to shine in your life and the world. The human soul, is obscured by the ego. The ego is not actually you, it is an external garmet that hides the light of your soul, your true self.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

As asked, this is a difficult question to answer because you did not indicate whether you wanted me to guess what meaning life has for you, or whether you wanted me to suggest what meaning it has for me?

At issue is the term "meaning". This term is subjective and reflects a relative truth indicating where, in terms of ones Spiritual evolution, one happens to be. Is this really what you were intending to solicit from people?

Or were you intending to solicit an opinion as to whether or not life has meaning? This question is a bit easier to answer since it requires a simple yes, or no. My answer is, yes.

What would have provided an opportunity for in-depth answers is the question... "what is the purpose of life?"

The meaning your life is different than mine or your friend's or someone else's. It's your life, you define it. You can go down whatever path you want to take. That's the meaning of life, making it your life and not anyone else's.

Watch Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. . .they tell you at the end of the movie.

Mind you, it is a bit...graphic, at parts.
