I want to know what you guys think about what she did? If you don't know, Debbie Lafave was a middle school teacher who had sex (on several occasions) with a 14 year old boy.
Thoughts?

Yes, it was definitely wrong & apparently Lafave has a huge problem..but I wonder what the mother of the boy would've done if it was a 17 year old girl...probably nothing. Boys at that age have sex. I think the only reason the mother did this was so she could sue and make a few bucks. The son probably had sex many times with different girls, so why point this one out?

i think she is a beautiful woman and she basically got away with murder oops i mean child rape...it's sad how society dose everything solely based on looks...there was another lady in wv who had sex with a 14 yr old and she was old and ugly and got 5 years, but hot lafave walks away scott free the boy was a virgin, even if he wanted it she was an adult....
i don't understand how the guys who get caught on dateline nbc are getting up to 10 years in prison and they didn't even smell the pu$$y but a grown women has sex with child numerous times and gets house arrest we live in a very sick sexist society...read the police interveiw from smoking gun she has not learned her lesson if she could do it to him again i bet you she would!

I asked about the same question as i love in Florida where this all happened and i was shocked to hear she only got hose aren't for 3 years , they have interviewed her so much on TV iam sick of it, she like all the others should be spending time in jail for what she did but i heard that her lawyer had said she was too pretty to go to jail, what the hell has that got to do with what she did ? HER husband was on today too and he thought she was sick with her red sweater and red lipstick on in the in view and that she showed no remorse in what she did......well i think it's a shame that some of the teacher here in Florida..and there are many .....having sex with there students

Only problem with Lafave is there's not enough of her to go around. Fourteen year old boys are bipedal hormones looking for something (anything) to copulate with. We should hire more mindless bodies like her and install one in each seventh grade class in America, and we would have no more problems getting boys to go to school.

I think that Debra LaFave is psychologically damaged, with bipolar disorder, so I do not think that her actions should be considered a crime at all. She really did not understand the full impact of what she was doing. I do not think that her actions should be dealt with as a crime. As she said in an interview, she feels like she was a victim herself. She has been raped herself so it also affected her psychology. She needs therapy instead of legal punishment.

She should be in prison right now.
That is not acceptable.. He was 14..
She was in a position of power and care being a teacher,
People go to jail for less then this, she should be in there right now..
It gives teachers that are sexual predators and edge above the law, they should look at her case and think.. "i would probally get away with this"
If i ever had children this is one woman i would not want them around!!
What if it had been a man that had sexual relations with a 14 year old teenager, he would have probally been stabbed to death in jail by now.

She's a sicko and if she were a man who did the same thing to a 14 year old girl, she'd be in jail. She deserves to be in jail and it sickens me that she got off easy because she's a woman. I knew a guy who's life had been profoundly messed up due to sexual abuse he suffered from a woman when he was about 12. Some people seem to think that women can't sexually abuse, or that it's not that serious when they do. That's simply untrue.

That's sick, at 14 he barely hit puberty his thing probably hasn't even grown to it's potential, it's sad. I would've killed her if that was my son. Let him be a boy and go out with girls his own age! After the whole mary kay lettourno case i have just been disgusted, yeah her and villi are married with their kids but if u loved him that much u would've let him grow up first and not ruin his childhood.

She should be in prison.Whether or not he wanted it,he is too young legally to have made that decision.She shouldn't be able to get away with this because "she is too pretty".Bet some of those dykes in jail would just love to get their hands on her.
