my best friend and my other friend were IM ing each other and my friend said "Caitlin (thats me) has really greasy hair. its gross. and its confusing cause she always gets the guy! and her hair is disgusingly greasy! i mean, shes going out with a football player and it looks like she never washes her hair!" my best friend e-mailed it to me and i think that was wrong of her to say. who agrees that she had no right to say that? especially scince i have overly active petuitary glands or whatever, and my hair like re-greases itself 10minutes after i take a shower with shampoo and conditioner. i take one everyday. what should i do? who feels sorry for me?!?

That wasn't nice of her to say this about u, but look deep at what she said sweetie.

U say she said that ur hair is "greasy, it looks like u never wash it" yet u get the guys and that ur going out with the football player.

Sounds like she has the case of the green eyed monster "aka" jealous

It bothers her that u get the guy and that ur dating a football player, which means u don't have to try too work hard at getting the guy plus the football guy.

Things all girls would love but maybe she one of those girls who feel she has to work hard to get the guy.

And look who ends up with the guy the girl with ( as she puts it) the disgusingly greasy hair that looks as if it's hasn't been washed.

She's not a very good friend if she said these things. It's not fair for her to feel u shouldn't get a guy.

U may want to confront her about this and let her know that up until u found out the things she said about u u thought she was ur bestfriend.

Tell her that u don't like the things she said about ur hair because the hair thing is something u have been trying to deal with and still u have the problems with ur hair and don't like the fact that she's talking about it as if ur doing it on propose.

U tell her u know it's a issue but it's ur issue and u don't need her to remind u about it

and if she keeps saying things about ur hair then this friendship has come to an end.

But b 4 u say that about ending the friendship ask her whats the real problem ur greasy hair or the fact that u can get the guy.Tell her u must have something about u that the guys like if u can get them greasy hair and all without it being an issue with the guy.

MAYBE YOU CAN TRY TO FIND A HAIR PRODUCT THAT WILL NEUTRALIZE SOME OF THE OILS IN YOUR HAIR. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK MAYBE YOUR DOCTOR OR A DERMATOLOGIST CAN FIND YOU SOME TYPE OF MEDICATION TO SLOW DOWN THE PRODUCTION OF THE OILS PRODUCED BY THE OVERACTIVE GLAND.

AND AS FAR AS THE OTHER CHIC , TELL HER TO GO AND DRINK PIG'S VOMIT BECAUSE YOU DON'T APPRECIATE THE IGNORANT COMMENTS BEING MADE WHEN SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH. IT'S GOOD THAT YOU HAVE A BEST FRIEND THAT INFORMED YOU OF WHAT WAS GOING ON THOUGH. GOOD LUCK...

Friends should laugh with you, give advice, and keep chrushes a secret, not rag on you or diss you. An occasional careless remark is expected, but what if she constantly belittles you?

should you ditch them?

decide if her comments are good-natured or attempts to make herself feel superior at your expense. True buds shouldnt stomp on you.

I think they were both wrong. The one friend obviously is having trouble with her own self esteem, and has to talk about others to make herself feel better. The second one who emailed you the IM likes to start crap, otherwise she would have just told her friend to shut up and not hurt you with it. Ignore the comment, after all you're the one who gets the guy!

I feel sorry for you she had know right to say that especially if she knows your condition. If you are getting all the guys she may have just said that out of jealousy.

shave you head or shut the hell up. get some shampoo for oily hair and stop using so much freaking mousse and gel and hairspray and other such nonsense. those little hookers are just jealous cause you are cracking the football players and they aren't getting any action.

You don't need people to feel sorry for you, you need to consider the source. Don't worry about what other people think of your hair.

well something like that happened with me but over clothes ... just move on and don't talk to that girl anymore - it may be hard but i'm sure you can find better friends than that.
