No.

In my opinion, feminism is just the desire for choice without judgements from the world. It is the belief that a woman should be able to do what she wants with her life-- whether that is to stay at home with a family, to work, whatever. I actually carry over this concept to men. I know some guys who would love to be stay at home dads, but it is frowned upon among their family and friends. I think that it should be a choice between a husband and wife, not the whole world.

"Feminism is the radical belief that women are people too."

No. It is a conspiracy against the family and a sign of weak spineless men.

Viewed objectively it is a "Catch 22" throwback to the old nature religions, where virtues were divided by sex; and a denial of Christian values where virtues are asexual.

All feminist claims generally pervert reality and produce more bondage than liberty.

The old feminism of yesterday was a conspiracy against women. It taught women to hate men, marriage, society, the government, and ultimately, to hate themselves and to deny their desires for marriage, a family, and children. It positioned women as victims of men and of society's institutions and created carping, whining, dependent cattle. The original feminists are now childless spinsters in their forties, fifties and sixties, unmarried with no prospects, chained to careers they dislike, dried-up sad old maids questioning where they went wrong in life.

To their credit, today's young women have abandoned this attitude of eternal self-defeating victimhood. They are changing the women's movement into one of self improvement and dedication to good causes such as the health and education of our children. This new generation has got feminism right, while the old feminists cower in Human Ecology Departments and Women's Studies Programs and spin their evil webs of man hating and play endless hollow rounds of blame-game to justify their useless lives.

I find that its original form was fine and well-founded, but now it has become a conspiracy against women!

It is going a bit too far

anything taken too far is ridiculous. some aspects of feminism seem to attack women who don't agree with their credo. it seems that when you get people into groups they start to feel powerful and they start to lose focus, they start to want more than just a benevolent equality. true feminists would simply want to be treated as equal to men, MENTALLY, not necessarily physically.

I think it's a conspiracy fueled by the devil through the media against women and the family institution, when I look at the big picture. Back in the not so old days women were much limited in career choices. A woman was expected to marry and raise kids. If she chose not to do this, her only other recourse was to be a nun, a teacher, or a nurse--if she was intelligent or not pretty. Others who were not smart, but were pretty became ladies of "ill repute". They couldn't own property or vote amongst other things. During WW2, women joined the work force--remember Rosie the Riveter? After the war, they were laid off their jobs to let the men have their jobs back.
Then the women's lib movement came about right around the time of the civil rights movement. Now women can attend college, be doctors, lawyers, and even Indian chiefs.
BUT--they still get paid less than their male counterparts, being a housewife is "looked down upon", unwanted and teen pregnancy runs rampant as well as STDs ever since the invention and easy access of The Pill, many young women equate equality with men is to lower themselves to the bad behavior of men, and when families in the old days could make it on one salary, now the vast majority of women MUST work outside the home just to get by.
Divorce is at the 60% mark. Families are broken, kids are bounced around from mom to dad (if there is one), to baby sitter, to grandparents, etc. Many kids have no sense of security, stability, or discipline. What they can't get away with with Mom, they can with Dad.
The family is the basic "cell" that forms the tissues that make up the organism of society. Many family cells are damaged or altered like actual physical cells due to disease or injury.
It's not because of women (or the women's movement) or men alone that human society is in peril. It's because of all of us dis-united as humankind as a whole. We are imperfect beings and the things we create on our own accord are imperfect.
It's part of the Human Condition, and the media eats it up and regurgitates it back to us, and we savor it. We need new Myths, we need new Signs and Symbols, we need Renewal all across the board. We need to simplify our lives and live more harmoniously with nature and our fellow human beings. We need to connect with the Higher Power of Love, Life, Understanding, and Peace. We need to get ourselves back to the Garden.
Ultimately it's a conspiracy against God, whose arrangements are premeditated in his wisdom. His blueprints are flawless, for he knows the makeup of men, women, children, and all life forms. The sun, moon, and stars are organized perfectly by
God, and they orbit like a perfectly made watch for they are obeying his will. What if the moon had a mind of its own and decided to change its orbit according to its own will? How catastrophic that would be to the Earth! The same God who arranged, designed, and created the universe also designed the family unit. Man is dependent on God--if he obeys God, he gets God's blessings (not curses). The man's job is to also take care of his wife and children--Love them, provide for them (even spiritually for their overall well being) and defend his family against harm and enemies. He's also to teach, discipline, and reward his children. He's to carry that assignment out as one who is to answer to God if he fails.
Women are called to be her husband's helpmate in this assignment. Children are to obey their parents. That is the Blessed Arrangement, and time has proven it.
Deviation from this arrangement ultimately causes chaos and the breakup of the family.
Many women resent the thought of having a man "over" them. Especially if he's a cruel and awful character. It makes women feel like inferior beings--Thus, the need for the women's movement. MEN's bad behavior, which is mainly disobedience to God, caused this to happen. I confess that I who type this am a man. Above me is a God who gives me orders. Does that make me inferior or what? When a woman's child has to take orders from her, does that make the child inferior?
Above all, every creation in the universe, including the angels is responsible to obey God.

Well the radical feminists are not to keen on men, but the average feminist is just like any other self-interest group in society who tries to further equality on the whole.

Stay away from the radicals!!!!!!!

There's always the possibility, but I really doubt it. I'm a little bit feminist myself, and it has nothing to do with men.

I've never felt conspired against, except perhaps by the few who think that all males are evil. I'm glad they're in the minority.
