This may be a stupid question, but I have a great idea for a movie plot.

Is there an actually place where Cyber Space begins...or the information is stored. What is actually allowing information to travel through cyber space and could it be destroyed?

Ok, this is what I know & what I get from all of this. Cyber Space in a way was 'presented' to us by Al Gore. Because he brought it to the light for all of us to see, he gets credit for it. Hence, him saying he created it. It was already in creation with different governments around the world sending information around & regualr people that tripped on it & did it themselves.

All Cyber Space really is, is nothing but an endless source of information avaliable to the public. So as long as we keep learning new things and sharing it with other, it will can not be taken down. The servers that support it, people using P2P programs to share info, it can not be destroyed unless someone gets control of it and does not allow us to use it. There is already people working in the US government to charge us with an internet tax just to use it ontop of what we all pay already. That sounds like control. If that happens here or somewhere else in the world, we could see it destroyed...

cyberspace is a term coined by Cdn author William Gibson, it refes largely to the internet, which is owned by no one and everyone

it begins at your fingertips or in your brain, and uses electricity to work it's magic, electricity being what allows it to exist, that and tubes :)
