verizon phone.?

you know when u have a cell phone, at least a verizon cell phone. and they have those little white dots that tell u if it got wet. and i think they turn red? does the whole thing turn red? or does the backside of it turn red? what exactly changes color?

well. inside my phone there are two white dots, one on the phone and one of the battery. and i was told that if they get wet then the dot would turn red that way when you take it up to verizon they will b able to tell if ur phone got wet and thats why its broken (which would b your own fault) or if the phone is really broken. so my phone isnt working right and i am trying to figure out what is wrong with it and if verizon will help me with it, and i want to know if it maybe got wet somehow? and so i wanted to know how i would b able to tell if it did get wet by looking at those dots and where they changed color.

The dots are what change color. This will alert VZW if the phone has been wet. This also nulls the warranty so unless you have insurance or are eligible for NE2 (new every 2) or an early upgrade, you would have to replace the phone @ retail tho most reps/store empl will offer you 25% off retail as a courtesy.

The dots on the phone will either turn completely red, purple or pink (it varies depending on the phone). Only the dots change color, not the entire back of the phone.

I'm with Leftygirl....I've never heard of that and I've been a Verizon user since before it's conception when it was still GTE Mobilenet (14 years ago).
