Gravity as effect on force of body on impact. The less mass falling the slower it falls and has less force on impact.

No, an ant that falls 10cm probably would have no injury whatsoever, whereas a human who falls 10m has a good chance of meeting their death, or at least will be severely injured. The reason is that an ant's weight is extremely small, compared to that of a humans. The mass of an object plays a big role.

I see no reason why the impact would be the same. The size is different, the weight is different, the distance is different. A human is much more than 100 times heavier thanan ant. So the doubtful theory that the difference in distance must be proportional to the difference in size would not apply.

No, the ant doesn't feel the same impact. The ant's weight is small compared to his surface area, so that he lands very lightly, because he's slowed down by air resistance. It's the same principle as with a parachute, which also has a small weight compared with it's surface area, and is slowed down by air resistance, in the same way that the ant is. The same thing happens with a feather or snowflake.

The ant is so light its body doesn't have much momentum which is the deciding factor here. Imagine the ant falling from a three story building and landing on you. You would barely feel it, but if a person fell off a step ladder and fell on you you would definitely feel it.

Well for an ant the fall is 1000 times longer so I would think that it would fall harder, but hey, I stink at Physics.

Ants don't feel the effect of gravity, plus they have these teeny weeny parachutes.
