If technology allowed a regular television to veiw in your house would you be pissed?

You mean if the TV in my house acted as a camera or recorded my voice and stuff? I've been expecting this from the Government now for several years- and nobody would know about it until they were arrested

In the George Orwell's book, 1984, the government spied on everyone this way.
In real life most people are not exciting or unique enough to be watched for very long.
The government would get very bored if they were watching me.
