I was recently legaly seperated but now we got back together and its working out good , during that time I was seperated I had sex with a old freind just once and I have been worried she could be pregnant. She had her tubes tied 17 years ago and she thinks i am nuts, She has had 2 normal periods and even took a home pregnancy test just to shut me up which turned out negative but I am a worry wart.

What do you guys think am I just be stupid and need to stop worrying about her being pregnant?

Also please don't flame me I am just a nervious person who always fears the worst with everything

I'm a mom of 7 and believe me i would not flame you on but i would say relax if she told you it is not happening it isn't trust her and believe when the tubes are tied that many years it doubt they are untied now... i feel it is the guilt of what you did.. have you shared this with your wife ?? i am not saying do so cause that could cause even more problems and stress... so let it go and move forward .. .God bless you

You do sound like you're going overboard. I think it's your guilty conscience. Maybe you should see a counselor and get this worked out of your system? Because, seriously, your wife doesn't want to hear about you having sex with your friend and, if you haven't told her, she could be very upset to learn about it now that you're back together.

The counselor could help you explore why you feel so obsessed about this issue including the fact you may have unresolved feelings towards your friend/one-night stand.

Don't beat yourself up or call yourself stupid. You banged someone outside of marriage which you havent done in along time (I am assuming). Therefore you have anxiety and maybe some guilt. Maybe you feel like you did something wrong and therefore are worried. Good luck with the old one. If you have separation sex again, wear a condom.

The odds are in her favor, man. It's like the odds when using a condom, so unless you have a track record of outstandingly bad luck, the odds of not being a father is something I would put good money on. Kudos for being nervous(responsible), but I think it's very safe to relax and move on. And congratulations on the reparations.

You're displacing worry about the ethics of what you did into something that seems more rational, worry about pregnancy. Face the fact that you committed adultery, even though it didn't seem like it at the time. Ask for forgiveness, even if the only person you're asking is yourself. You're not being stupid at all, but you're defining things wrong.

First of all, she is not pregnant. Second, she is not pregnant.
I see why you should be worried, but in this case there is no need. Calm down, calm down. All is well. From today, start to live your life in an enjoyable and positive way. Good luck

just relax, man. she took a pregnancy test and its negative, even if she were pregnant, you were seperated during that time, and you did absolutely nothing wrong, just calm, down, it'll be okay.
