No. Not at all. I use it to talk to people I mostly already know or went to school with. I just moved a state away so it's nice to keep in touch with friends. My boyfriend is 29 and he's on there too. I think the television has really gone overboard in making myspace seem like it's used for the wrong reasons. People shouldn't be stupid enough to put their hometown and everything about them including their cell phone. I mean come on. Duh! So they have what's coming to them. My profile is private. I think anyone has the right to be on there.

No, its inappropriate for people to give misleading information on myspace. Such as age, gender, and other lies. Its also inappropriate to add anyone 12-16ish if you're older then hmmm lets say 20. Unless its your kid lol which is funny 2 me

What's wrong with old people?
You must be very young and immature.
Old is not an age (30 and over) - it's how
you `play the game.
Now you should apologize to everybody on Yahoo
who is over 30. That is going to keep busy for a while
(10 years or so)

Why would it be inappropriate? Myspace is for people of all ages. It just seems that younger people seem to be more into it.

If someone has something to say about it then the heck with them! It's a good thing ANY time people can get together and be social! It's not childish at all and don't ever feel that way. The people who say it is are probably jealous or living really lame unsocial life styles.

It does seem to have been overtaken by young people, but it's supposed to be for everyone. The only reason older people wouldn't want to create accounts would be because they receive constant sarcasm from the younger ones. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm. Not all young people are like that, but a high percentage are.

No, it's not. I have a my space page and so do all of my friends. I'm not quite 30 yet, almost. It really depends on your reason for being on the site. I don't use it as a dating source. The purpose of my page is to stay connected with my friends. I have friends in and outside of the U.S. My space has helped me to reconnect with people that I hadn't seen in years. It's a useful tool.

I wouldn't say inappropriate. Seems more out of place, some more than others, but not inappropriate.
