I heard of this place called wonder Valley Ranch Resort and they say it's a really nice place in the Sierra Nevada area near the giant sequoias in california. Supposidly it's a summer camp during the summer and a resort and conference center the rest of the year. Has anyone ever been there and can you tell me how you liked it. Do you recommend that I take my family there?

Unique TripWe rented a small cottage in Wonder Valley Dude Ranch, it was an excellent weekend. Went horse back riding on Sunday, meals were great, service was the best. We were treated like celebrities. I would recommend it for anyone.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills next to the majectic Kings River in the 1890’s this historic ranch resort was a refuge for the infamous outlaws, the Dalton brothers. In the 1950’s it once again became a refuge of sorts, but this time for movie stars from Hollywood seeking seclusion. Today it is a favorite destination for travelers enjoying the natural beauty of the Sierras. This beautiful ranch resort offers 52 rooms clustered throughout a grove of mature Oaks and Sycamores, an endless number of recreational activities and outstanding food.
