Because we live in a country where one sin is greater than the next. I was taught that if you kill a roach or curse it holds the same weight when you get to heaven. The only way to get to heaven is to repent. One thing God gave us is the ability to make a decision. No one sin is greater than the next. That was a very thought provoking question.

Because it isn't really about religion. Those who choose to judge and persecute gays are motivated by prejudice and intollerance, not religious conviction. Ask those same people which offends them the most, homosexual men or lesbians? Nearly all of them would say homosexual men. Many actually like the idea of two women being together. That's a double standard, too. It's all about prejudice.

Divorce is not a sin....God wants you to be happy. Dont get me wrong, you cant just go around getting married and a month later divorce....cheating is a good reason why many people divorce. And not everyone judges gays. If they repent God will forgive them.

You should replace the "WE" in your sentence.I wouldn't stay in an abusive marriage or one that the Husband goes out on the wife.
Remarrying is out of the question for some people who are on disability,because the State or Government I should say will take your insurances away and make your husband liable and can't afford medicine not to mention and Doctors and tests and hospital bills.Therefore more people are living together.No I'm not one I live alone with my cat.

God granted divorce only because the people were stubborn enough to demand it.
God judges gays by explicitly forbidding their practices - we are not to judge but we are entitled to express an opinion. We are to love our neighbor and our enemy even as we love ourself - whether that neighbor or enemy is gay, Muslim, Zionist, etc.
