Could the term 'gay bashing' be used in the literal sense?
Say I beat my gay neighbors face with a bat.... is that gay bashing?

You know a lot of reports have shown that severe homophobes are in fact gay themselves. We are all human beings so what would make someone cause any harm to someone else? Hate for yourself, and hate for what you are. You are so afraid that your family and friends will disown and reject you for being gay that you deny and hate yourself for what you truely are, to the point where if you cause harm towards what you hate it makes you think you are better by putting someone in a lower position. Why do you care so much about how a gay person lives their life? Does it bother you that they are happy with who they are and you hate yourself? You really should come out of the closet already, it's dark in there and it's really unhealthy to have that much hate

I was gay "bashed" by five men for no reason and they put me in the hospital. It's not funny. Let me know if such a thing happens to you for ANY reason, and then come back and give an intelligent response to your own question.
