I moved to Kernersville North Carolina and am interested in taking my husband on a weekend trip. Somewhere within 200 miles. Any ideas?

How about Asheville?
It's beautiful, nearby, and there's lots to do. The Blueridge Parkway is beautiful, and there are places to hike, mountain bike, fly fish, whitewater raft, etc.You can go for a swim at The Grove Park Inn's Spa pool. If you are interested in crafts, folk art, there's a large craft show the weekend of October 21-24. If you can't make it them, there are different stores and galleries that showcase the many craftspeople and artists in the Asheville area
