Well jeez, I don't know! Why do muslims want to push islam down your throat (or up your butt) Why does Mexico want to push 40 million of it's citizens over our borders. Why does North Korea want to push it's communism onto South Korea. Why does Afghanistan want to push heroine by the tens of tons onto the world. Why do the Arabs want to push Israel into oblivion. Why do the Tutsi and Hutu want to murder each other out of existance. Why are the Chinese planning to invade Tiawan. I guess we're just so backwards that we expect everyone to want the same freedoms we take for granted. Darned Americans!

Because we can is true, but only the half the story. Just because you can does not mean you want to, or have to, and most Americans do not want to.
But those who do – right-wing religious and political fanatics – have a lot of power under the Bush/Republican administration. Therefore they can, want to, and will.
And, they are dangerous, as dangerous as Islamic fanatics. Given the opportunity, a Christian zealot will gut you just as fast as any other.
All you can do is: sit back, relax, and watch Mohammed vs. Jesus on 24-hour cable TV. It will be the ultimate reality show. And if you place a wager on the outcome – remember to bet with your head and not with your heart.

what do you mean by force, i am a american , I am just expressing my opinion that is either to be accepted or not accepted, it totally up to the individual, now if you are talking about the USA, Anti Americans in control of the USA Government well that is another story.

we americans by and large don't impose our views on others, its the people up there in the white house thats employing a terribly wrong foreign policy towards the outside world. our government has this misguided and misplaced sense of supremacy esepecially in terms of military might . they think might is right. these sort of sheer arrogance and ignorance of others aspirations and fears has contributed to a very unstable world especially in the middle east.

I'd like to know why Canadians do the same thing to their own people. Why does your government arrest people for "hate speech" when they've quoted the bible?
Canada needs to start respecting freedom of speech and freedom of religion before it starts lecturing America.

I don't know..I'm American, I'm not crazy and I don't try to force my views on the world...but I must admit, I don't like people who try to force their views...I like what I like, know what I know and don't try to force anyone to see it my way, therefore I don't like to be forced into someone else's views either... To me, their just angry people who feel their views are the only ones that are right..

Silly!
The whole world envies America and us Americans.
The whole world (at least all of Mexico, Central and South America, and other other third world jungle/desert hell-holes) wants to live in America and be like us.
We don't have to force anything on anybody!
What we do need to do is get serious about defending our borders and our way of life. There are nut-cases in flowing robes who are outraged because we don't pray to Mecca every few hours. These nut-cases do crazy s--t like abducting our citizens and cutting off their heads on video. And hi-jacking jetliners and cutting stewardess' eyes out with box-cutters and flying said jets into skyscrapers. These people, we have got to resist -- otherwise they will nuke us.
