I never sold games to these stores, so what is the difference with store credit than just getting strait out cash?

When you sell a game to them they will give you cash or a store credit which they will usally give you more for the game in store credit they cash but you can use the store credit to reserve games coming out soon and they usally have deals going on were they will give you an extra 10% for the game in you put it on
a reservation.

The points that are aquired from the machine are exchanged for store credits.The store credits,are considered "cash",but only to be used for merchandise,or services offered by the store the machine is located in,and no other stores.

When returning items they have a policy where they will not refund your money but give you a gift card type of thing where you can only use it at Eb games or gamestop. It usually applies to items returned as defects or opened items returned in good condition. However it mat apply to other items. See store for more details.

Store credit is good towards merchanise that they sell, Cash is what makes the world go round. Go with cash

you have to spend store credit at their store, cash is cash you take it with you
