The entire wealth of the nation is controlled by the oligarchy. Our constitution, law and order is designed to protect these families. Our electoral process is a farce. This can produce only rogues and scoundrels as the leaders. Unless we change the election mechanism, the public will very soon get frustrated and there will be a civil war.

NO I DO NOT AGREE. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT SOME OF OLD MAHARAJAS OR THEIR FAMILY ARE IN POLITICS ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE ALSO CITIZEN OF INDIA AND RIGHT TO CONTEST ELECTION. SOME MAY WIN AND SOME MAY BE DEFEATED ALSO. SO FAR IN DEMOCRATIC INDIA THERE IS NO MAHARAJA PRIME MINISTER NO PRESIDENT BELONGS TO MAHARAJA'S FAMILY. THEY ALSO CONTEST THE ELECTION ON THE SYMBOL OF POLITICAL PARTIES. THEY CANNOT WIN ELECTION AS AN INDEPENDENT.

India was ruled by Maharajas but now it is being ruled by useless Politicians who are trying to prove to be Maharajas and trying to pass it on to their next generation on the excuse of the another useless family -the Nehru family, who has set up this bitterest tradition-i dont know why all these congress leaders are so coward that no one has gutts to raise a voice. Whenever some one has tried to raise a voice against it he has been made to just disappear from the scene-is it the reason. Then all congress leaders should resign and form a new lolitical outfit and let the country be free from these foreigners.

There are afew from royal families in the parliament,but majority of the rulers in parliament are lowly scoundrels who should be behind the bars for corruption, tax evasion, accumulating wealth in foreign banks ,and other crimes There is neither Law or order to protect ordinary people. In fact police wont even register an FIR.
Election mechanism cannot be changed. Any anti people bill can be passed by amendment to constitution. There will be no civil war as our military is too docile to take on the politicians.
You can become an MP with 25% out of 30% polled votes to your credit or enter by back door as nominated member of Rajya sabha. Judiciary is helpless because all appointments to supreme court are controlled by government. In Lower courts
lakhs of cases are pending for want of infrastructure.
So be happy that you are at least alive.

It is true that ,in India it is happening time and again in almost all the states as well as at the centre. Some political parties are playing the game of religion , while others are playing caste based politics. It is high time the people should join hands to get rid of all the existing politicians by defeating them in the elections en-mass. Some new generation politicians need to come up and take the reigns to protect the country..

certainly u r right , but not the ancient maharaja but the new born once a politician be in the ruling arena he definately becomes maharaja no doubt. u must have heared Mr.lalu who is from a poor family now spending multicores of rupees in a marriage party of his doughter. like that every politicians has huge amount of money in foreign countries. so dont worry about the maharaja of india they can be counted in fingures but you cannt count the new borns. and nothing can be changed becouse they are the law maker and think the mafias, dakus, chore, scandaler, rapist and one cant name them are the law maker than what can a general people can do. and u worried about civil war this can also happen in their point so no need to worry al about let the thing happen only god can save us.

what sort of maharajas, they cannot take care of thier families, how will they take care of the public, they are not maharajas, they are opportunist, self intrested, self centred, criminals whose acts constitute all the offences in the indian penal code.

electoral reform is needed.to vote in loksabha election-higher secondary level, assembly-secondary level; panchayat should be open to all voters only.That will promote quality politicians and stop RAJ of politicians of vested interest
