I am leaning towards rhodes against the houston d, hoping he'll pull the same 276 and 3tds like edge did last year against the texans..... and im starting steven jackson against the 49ers, self explanatory.... should i consider maroney or portis instead of rhodes or jackson? I mean Maroney will be sharing with dillion and that could deflate his fantasy worth until he becomes the solo number 1 back... and portis well, he's against dallas and half injured.... Should i start rhodes and jackson?

What happens last year has NOTHING to do with this year. Portis is out, start Jackson and Maroney. I doubt Rhodes does anything, as the Indy running game isn't working well yet.

I would go with Jackson for sure and Maroney gets the second spot over Rhodes. Portis is probably out this weekend.

jackson is the obvious one, portis is supposedly out, unless you hear something before sunday, i would leave him on the bench(however, he wasn't going to play against the vikings, but had 9 carries, one for a TD, a couple of them goalline carries as well), the colts running game looked like crap against a good giants defense, expect them to do better, but there is no way of a 276, 3TD peformance from their RB's combined, maroney would be your best number 2 then, even though he is splitting with dillion. both are expected to get 15-20 touches each, and each brings something different to the table which makes both of them have nice fantasy value. so jackson and maroney

1. Jackson - who is a stud
2. Rhodes - who has a great matchup
3. Maroney - who will split carries
4. Portis - who may not play

Jackson for sure.....portis could be out altogether so game time decision on him......think pats will run a lot....so i am leaning towards maroney instead....pats have wideout problems and two strong te's...look for big ground production even spliting time...I just am not impressed with rhodes
