Although I don't really like country Rascal Flatts - SarahBeth. It's a happy/sad song.

Yesterday by Paul McCartney
He wrote it when his mom died and I cry like a baby whenever I hear it.
Come Monday by Jimmy Buffet
I heard this when my kitty died while I was away from the country. I still tear up even if I'm in public when this song comes on.
Bad Day by Daniel Powter
This was on the radio every day when I visited my mom in Germany last year. Now that I'm back in the States, every time I hear this song I just think of how much I miss seeing/spending time with my mom.
P.S. Incubus- Wish you were here gets me too sometimes. So does their song Echo

ok... this is just me ok? I loooove " because the night" by 10,000 maniacs, and "sarabeth" , and that other one by rascall flats, "...something, the most," i think it is called. I can't listen to it because I cry. And, from Ozzy, " so tired". Memories,is why I cry.... ohhh and a song, from Faron Young, called " how I love this little girl of mine," my daddy used to sit at the tableand we would drink coffee. mine would be with looooots of milk, and about an eighth of coffee and the rest milk, and dadd'ys would be the other way around! and mama would put that record on, ( cd's and cassettes were't around yet!) and I would sit on daddy's lap and mama would drink her coffee. It was a great memory, because my mom and dad were alcoholics so times of peace were very rare in our house. my parents died when i saw 18 ( mom) and dad, when i was 24. So I had to go to napster, and i found that song, listened to it and bawled like a baby,as I am now 38 and i found it on Napster. I am happy for the memory though! oh, i was scrolling..." nothing compares 2 u" and " My heart will go on," that one makes me cry alot!

Bette Midler's Wind beneath my wings: dedicated to my mother who passed when I was 16.... Darryl Worley's Have you forgotten: dedicated to all those lost and living from the tragedy that occured on 9/11/01... Michael Bolton's How am I suppose to live without you: dedicated to my father who when I moved out of the state at 18 it was hard for him, not knowing it was gonna be the last time that I would ever see him again... and last but not least Savage Garden's I knew I loved you: dedicated to my husband.

I've got two, Sarabeth by Rascal Flatts, and the one Pearl Jam sings about the car crash, can't remember the name of it right now. Oh where, oh where could my baby be, the Lord took her away from me, she's gone to heaven so I've got to be good so I can see my baby when I leave this world; some of the lyrics.

I don't know if this is really considered a "sad song" but "Here's to the Night" by Eve 6 always gets me. There's also "All Cried Out" but I don't know who ORGINALLY did that one. I wanna say Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
