I would do it, sign me up. I don't like to be out in the sun anyway. I have auburn hair and just burn. I would read the newspaper to choose my meal. There are plenty of bad guys walking the streets that are probably only good for a midnight snack. At least they would be good for something, and the daylight crowd could be a lot safer too!

I think that if vampires really existed, you'd end up not having a choice but becoming one. Think about it. There are two species
1) The prey (humans), which are weaker, don't live forever and hence do not learn over an infinite lifespan
2) The predator (vampires) which are stronger, can learn over an infinite amount of time, and who can turn their victims into themselves by simply biting them
Suppose that you let out one vampire into a group of 100 people. What happens then, he soon "infects" a couple of other people turning them into vampires and those two do the same to two more people each ...pretty soon the vampire population grows exponentially, while the normal human population decreases exponentially ...pretty soon, humans are extinct and have become vampires in their totality
Not to be pessimistic, but in my opinion, if vampires existed, you and I would end up sucking blood a lot sooner than you think :-)

I have thought about this .. as I have always been sort of fascinated with Vampires. I like the idea of living forever, but more like the Highlander does. I don't like the way the Vampires have to live.... like in the dark, drinking blood or being under the ground. But..then the Highlander has to be looking out for his back all the time and then has to chop off a head. Soooooooo, I would like to live forever, but in luxury with nobody hunting me.

I'd do it. I'd try to be humane though. I mostly want to do it so that I could see how mankind evolves in the next couple of centuries. Like if they'll ever start colonizing other planets, or the rise and fall of different nations. Different stuff like that.

i like being human, but my boyfriend ethan has actally asked me this question before he wants to be a vampire he said it they were real he would want 1 to bite him so he could be 1...
