The passing game wasn't really shown in that game....only 11 pass attempts, what's up with that. I wanna see if they can pass before I say they'll do anything better than 10 wins...Defense is good...but I think the Chicago Bears showed everyone last season...Defense doesn't mean crap if you can't score enough points against another defense (Referring to the 29-21 loss to Carolina) Defense wins championships they say...well offense must be spoken for as well...and a one dimensional running attack that the Chargers have wont work for very long.

LT had like 100 yards at the half right? and like 18 carries or something? Well he finished with 31 carries for just 130 yards...they just played the run and neglected the pass...obviously it worked a little...we'll see. The Chargers are a team I would love to see win the Super Bowl if it's not going to be my team...but I dunno...I wanna see that passing game!

I could see them going 12-4. But alot of it is going to depend on Rivers. You can't beat everyone with the running game, even with the best back in the game. Rivers is going to make some mistakes this year, and the offensive line is not exactly tops, but the front 7 on defense is the best in the league, and you don't need a great WR when you have the most dangerous TE in the game. They will win the AFC west.

1st off, maybe statistically they have the number one ranked defense, but overall that would go to the ravens, the ravens but a beating on a team that went 11-5 last year and with hopes of making the playoffs again. the chargers played against a horrible offensive-schemed team that couldn't block for anything in the oakland raiders. also, top offensive line would have to go to the vikings. but to answer your question, i could see them win 10 games for sure, 12 game is possible, but not that likely, rivers needs someone else to step up at wr, i don't think eric parker is the answer either.

man above me, of'course we didnt see alot of the passing game, they were bringin Rivers around in what was already a blowout of the raiders. They looked good but lets not get carried away. I never really liked their defense sure they stop the run but their secondary always gets lit up and as a team they dont force many to's. Chargers always looked like they were primed for a good season but they could never finish it. I say 10-6 is realistic in a division that has Denver and KC.
