The topic that you're planning to base your paper on is very interesting, but how you approach the subject is shallow and misleading. Don't insunuate that discrimination majorly affects blacks only (especially when it comes to welfare, loans, etc.). Latinos, asians and whites have never been exempt from discrimination too.
It's good that you're writing about discrimination in today's society. But I hope that you would accurately portray and include all the victims of discrimination, for they come from different skin colors.

First of all, the premise of your paper is flawed and its focus is way off the mark. You see, racism knows no race nor creed. Everyone is discriminated against in some way shape or form. Even white people.
In today's society, think you'd have just as much (if not better) luck finding people who were discriminated against because they are white. Find any caucasian college freshman and ask why they were turned down for minority scholarships. Then see if you can find any caucasian-only scholarships. Do the same study for employment.
But lest someone go too far with this and throw the term "reverse racism" around, let's all remember that there is no such thing as reverse racism...only racism.
Good luck in your studies.

I can't really say for sure if I have been denied anything I need cause I'm black. They wouldn't tell me that. But I don't really feel as though I have been discriminated against. I like to think I have been treated fairly.

I think what he is trying to do is point one case of discrimnation towards one race. I find it easier to find racism involing blacks than other races.
Now to help with your paper-
I've lost out on jobs (Fortune 500 companies) not because I'm black, but because I went to college. The people dening me were otehr blacks. who were mad because I went to college and got an education. So I was a sellout in thier eyes.
I know others that lost thier jobs because they didn't speak Spanish and went to court to get them back, along with money for damages.

I fare well. I am a tither, so God rebukes the enemy for my name sake. I am a lender, not a borrower. This is a fact. However, There are more white people on welfare than black people. They are in more debt than the average black man and they are seeing a doctor 5 - 1. The average white person doesn't sleep as well as a black man because their creditors are calling their phones off the hook. Sorry babe can't help.

I'm not black, but my wife, who is white, was denied a job because she was not a Ho-Chunk Indian. They claim that they take care of their own people first. I would call that discrimination.
