As far as talent, yes. They have some great players, but it's only 1 game in. The secondary, which was suspect last year, has yet to be tested. And they ran an extremely vanilla offense against Oakland, so we haven't really seen what they can do.

What if they had Drew Brees?? Plz Brees was always an average qb that had the benefit of playin with the leagues best TE and RB. They look better off with Rivers(he made some excellent throws) but until the chargers prove to me that they can finish well in a season I refuse to put them in the top 5.

Ehhhhh....If they show me a passing game...top 10...if they show me they can beat a really good team and have a passing game...top 5. They only played OAKLAND, you can't base a teams success on how well they beat the crap out of Oakland. As of right now...no teams qualify for anything...Hell for all we know..the Lions could be the best team....

Did I just say that?....sorry I didn't mean it. But you get the point.

Definitely not. We haven't seen Rivers do much of anything besides hand off to Tomlinson, which I guess isn't such a bad thing. My guess is he'll struggle if he's forced to throw....
