Yeah, I'm 14 and I got a tattoo. All you need is your parents to sign a permission slip.

Yes, but anyone reputable will not tattoo you. A reputable shop will check your ID. I received my tattoo when I was 19, I'm 20 now. Wait until you're at least 18 and then look for a great artist and a clean shop. Cheaper isn't better. Don't get what everyone else is getting to "fit in". Get your first tattoo in a spot that is easy to hide. You need to ask yourself if you want the same thing on your body, when you're 70 years old.

No. You have to be 18 to get a tattoo. If you really want a tattoo, get a henna tattoo. They look real, last for awhile and when it is gone you can get another in a different style. Besides if you go with henna tattoos you can find out what prejuidices you might encounter from people.

Think about it before you do it if it is legal at your age where you live most states are 18. Remember once you get a tattoo it is there forever except if you want to spend ALOT of money and get it removed. Talk to your parents also since you aren't 18 yet.

It's not legal in most states until you're 18. Most legit tattoo parlors will ask for ID and ask you to fill out forms.
If you go to a not so legit company, they will tattoo you, but since they're not following regulations, you don't know what kind of place it is, and they could be using dirty neddles, etc, and you could get a disease, etc. Better off waiting till you're 18 and going to a reputable place to get inked.

pal, you're at that glorious age when you think you'll be 16 forever ...
don't tune me out! I was 16 once myself for a few decades.
Yeah, you can score a tattoo somewhere or other if you look around.
But ...
I wish you'd hold off and not rush into anything permanent.
I've seen too many really poor tattoos! On the level of the joke-tattoo -- the big hand on the belly pointing up and the caption "I'm with Stupid"
That bad....
You should see my mom's tattoo -- no kidding, she's worn long sleeves since 1944, trying to cover it up. You should see my son's tattoo. He wears long sleeves too. Sad...
Just hold your horses. Wait a year, or even a few months.
You might -- surprise -- say "thanks" to ... http://lifeloom.com

If your parents go with you and give permission to the tattoo artist, sure.
