American greed in the shape of a pseudo military toy, who could refuse!

First, wiatch, just because y'all don't like the way Hummers look doesn't make them ugly. A lot of people think they look good. I happen to like the look of the H1. Second, there are many other vehicles that get the same or worse mileage, so don't be gettin all up in errybody's grille and single out Hummers. Third, it's a free country, and we have the right to like or dislike any vehicle we want. If you want to make it in the world, the first thing you want to do is accept that there are many other opinions that are not the same as yours, but they all carry the same or greater importance than yours.

I don't own a Hummer, can't afford it. BUT I do own a large American made pick-up. I cannot speak for others, but there is one law above the law of political correctness---- a law of physics. The one stating that no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time.
I am no giant, but I am what has been termed "...a double extra large irregular". A "military grade blivot". I don't fit in much anything smaller than a large pick-up.
My wife's car will accommodate me, but just barely, and then only for the period of time it takes me to take her on a date. Very painful. We usually take my pick-up so that we can BOTH enjoy ourselves.

Based on that premise; all automobiles with an internal combustion engine are bad for the environment. Why single out Hummers?

I have never been able to figure out the Hummer thing either. They are so big and clunky looking. I think it is a status thing, "I can afford to buy this big ugly vehicle and keep it gassed up."

All autos belch two times their personal weight in CO2 for each year on basic. So making use of a 6000 pound motorized vehicle to taxi round one or 2 human beings is a waste. it really is in case you've already got faith CO2 is risky. it really is a diverse debate.

They are not into conserving energy. A big yellow vehicle is cool. Almost like a military taxicab, only they ain't into giving rides to the public.

people don't really like them it is just a static symbol....they cost a lot and people want to show off that they can afford them....so it is like look at me I can afford to buy a hummer and you cant...nan....I personal feeling is that hummers are big and ugly cars....and if you have to show off that you have money and can afford a really nice car then I would spend my money of a porshe or a cobra or some really nice sports car that everyone just goes.....OHHHHHHHH at when you drive by....not one that people go .....SHOW OFF at when you drive by....but that is my opinion maybe I am wrong but I don't care....
