Krishna k, I think, meant to say get on the train not under the train.
Any way few years ago it was a common practise to get on the train even without ticket rather then miss the train. In most cases you just inform the guard that there was no time to stand in line and buy the ticket, guard will give a piece of paper and may collect the fair but lots of time he will send a ticket checker to collect the fair and gives you the conformation. In some rear cases you paid at destination as you got out of the station.

no idea what you mean.. if you mean 'how to check railway train seat availability?' then go to indianrail.gov.in and go to internet booking(you need to register first) then you can check the availability of seats in the train and on the date you want.
