The thing is; don' t rely on science to answer such questions, because we all know that science simply denies some "facts" when it doesn't find a physical proof for their existence, but we all know that they exist, we daily live and feel stuffs..
Science still needs some time, u see.. it hasn't been so long since these scientific revolutions took place, so it simply can't cover it all.. I depend on religions to answer these questions, because afterall religions are older than science, so they should know better..

naturally in the winter you feel a chill in the air
but it's a real ***** whe you feel a chill run up and down you spine when the weather is like 100 degrees and your all alone either reading or watchin a scary movie or some one tellin you a horror story actually what it is are what you would call "poltergiests" as you well know when room temp drops well below freezing in the middle of summer there is a presence in the room you can take as supernatural or a myth if you feel that on you then it's very real believing it is up to you think about it

Yes, it is a superstition that when you get the chill someone is walking on your grave.

The superstition is that when you feel the chills it means someone just stepped on your grave (or rather on the site that will be your FUTURE grave once you die).

i have heard people say a spirit has just passed thru them , someone walked over their grave, and that someone who has passed is thinking of or watching them

al of the answers s far are good . but they left out the biggest cause . thinking to much and closely about your own death.
