you know, your right!! i am surprised! i wonder why that is? do ad companies not recognize interracial couples as a market base? or are they afraid of pissing off narrow minded people who still think its wrong? wow, great question!!!

There was a commercial not too long ago for Kaiser Permanente (an HMO) which featured a Caucasian husband and an Asian wife. Some of you may remember it--the commercial's message was that KP offers a very wide variety of services, so the gimmick was that all these medical specialists were following the husband wherever he went.

I have wondered that for a long time. Have you noticed to that when there does happen to be a interracial couple on the soaps they split them up quickly?.

No never seen any, isn't that strange. By now we all know how many interracial couples thre are in Hollywood. Maybe the sponsors are scared of these arian know it alls.

I have seen a couple; a white man and asian woman shopping for paint for their home; a white man and black woman going on a trip in a car commercial (sorry, I can't remember what car company).

I can't say that I have . . . good question! I think there SHOULD be more commercials like that, though. Unfortunately, we live in a society that is based on few percentage of "approval" for that sort of thing. Too bad!!!!!

I haven't seen any recently. I think it's because the target audience tends to reflect politics as well as dollars because they are related so closely.
