So, I don't have a date to homecoming but I still want to go. My friends are all either going on dates or they don't want to go at all, and I really want to go even though I don't have a date, but I didn't want to go alone, btw I'm a Jr., so I invited my is who is 3yrs younger than me to go with, but my friends don't really like her, and what if someone finds out she is my sis and so young, given she doesn’t look any younger than I do. But is this really pathetic to have her come with me. Some of my friends are defiantly going to recognize that she is my sis and I am going to be so embarrassed
So what should I do? Should I just not go? Should I just go alone? I just don't know what to do

i just graduated high school last year (class of 06!) but i think you should go with a group of friends... if you don't have a date, its always fun to go and have a "girls night" even if you have guy friends there too.

Your friends would know? So? Friends laugh at friends. Either way, i would do it to where your more comtable. And were, just in case it gets boring, you have an easy way out. So what, some people bring cousins. Bring your sister if you want, but its pretty much the same thing as just bring your cellphone.
If you really want to go, go by yourself. When your alone, you have more time to meet new people. To get hit on...and alot of other things that happen.
Its just really up to..if you want to go...and if you could stand being with your sister for that long. lol

GO and have a great time. Hang out with people you know. Introduce yourself to someone you don't know. Ask a guy to dance. Dance with your girl friends. So what if you don't have a date? Lots of people go to dances without dates. You won't be the only one. The important thing is to have a good time, and if having your sister there makes you more comfortable, take her. And here's a way to get asked to dance--stand somewhere close to the people dancing, watching them, boping your head and moving your body a little, smiling. You're showing you love dancing and you're happy to be there. Then you're the girl the guy will feel comfortable asking. Guys ask girls to dance when they think she will say yes. Have a wonderful time.

As long as your not trying to pass her off as your date its fine to take her. You don't have to have a date to go to a school dance. Lots of people go alone, some take their friends just to have a good time and hang out, others take family members with them. Don't worry about what everyone else is going to say. People are going to talk no matter what. They will get over it so don't stress it.

Well ok so what if you dont have a date go in a group with your friends. i know i used to go with my boyfriend every year, but we would meet our friends there and all of us would hang out with eachother so we were in a big group an we all danced together so its not that big a deal if you dont have a date. its better that you go and not miss out on all the fun then just be at home wishing you would have gone bored. just go you wont regret it! and hey if your there and you dnt like it just leave, its better like i said that you go and see whats happending and try and have fun then to not go at all.

Wow.Go by urself.U cnt be that worried about wat others think that u would miss such an event.If u cnt bring urself to see urself going by urself then stay urself home.Either way, I hope u grow up, stop worrying about people and have some fun.

dont go with ur sis. if u really wanna go, ask a guy friend of yours. if u dont have any available guy friends..or any guy friends at all... either get ur friends to hook u up or go with one of ur chick friends
