how do i get "password protection" off my computer?

so i got these computers from my homeschool and they block every site ....how do i turn that off?

if you know can you walk me through it step by step?

Change the security settings in the browser. Also look for any software (guardian type) that might be installed.

it depends on what software operating system you are running.

lets say for example you are running WINDOWS 98.

when already logged onto the computer.
select the My Computer icon
right mouse click
select explore
when the new window opens
select Help from the menu bar.
next do a search using the keywords "password protect"
then select from the list presented

but i suspect you are asking the wrong question.

do this:

on the internet explorer menu bar at the top
select Tools
select Internet Options
select tab at top that says Content
in Content Advisor select Enable
select tab that says General
under user options uncheck both of the boxes
select apply
select OK
select OK until all the boxes are closed
