Open an account at a bank. If you go to a check cashing place you might as well come to my house and pay my ridiculous fees.

You go to a check cashing store. All towns should have one...you know the kind that they cash government checks, payroll, income tax etc.

Check cashing places will only cash up to a certain amount and they will charge you. Your best bet is to open an account and wait the 3 days for the check to clear.

I think check cashing places only cash up to under $1000, from what I remember. Open an account and wait a few days for it. It is well worth it. CONGRATS!!!!
