He has taken several cheapshots at my wife in the past. I stand up for her and he quickly backs off. I cannot stand his current girlfriend. To me, she has no redeemable qualities. Should I let loose with everything I don't like about her or just keep my mouth shut and "take the high road"?

don't say anything unless asked directly. and then only give the facts unless asked for your honest opinion. if you give unsolicited advice in that situation, it will come back to bite you in the *** everytime. they may end up saying "man, i should've listened to you 5 years ago" in 5 years, but in that time, you're friendship won't be the same. let him learn for himself because that's the only way he will.

If you still want to be his friend then don't say anything. He will more than likely realize it himself in due time and break-up with her anyway. Saying something will not only ruin your relationship with him now, but probably forever....even after he breaks-up with his girlfriend. If you don't care to be his friend anymore then just let loose on him.

Take the high road...if you tell him how you really feel, it will just cause hard feelings if their relationship gets serious and it won't matter what you think about her if the relationship fails.

He is your good friend so you should be able to tell him exactly how you feel about his girlfriend. He might get angry in the beginning, but he should be able to listen to what you have to say
