tell the other fools to shut up. an entry level graphic graphic designer starts @ $30,000 to $75,000 per year. These other fools dont know sh%&. Im a portal architect. I started in 96 with no official schooling on it because at that time it was too new. Now most big companies are using india to do graphics cheap. Make a portfolio of every graphic you ever made, and upload that to either your own web space or type in your search engine for free web space or try tripod.lycos.com , they have free web site space and you can send potential employers there to see what you can do. Remember the other fools will tell you it cant be done, when the fact is I didn't nearly know enough when I started and I started at $62,000 a year. Also use the internet to your advantage and type in free graphic tutorials in your search engine as they have these for photoshop, illustrator, flash, c+, dreamweaver, fireworks, frontpage, and keep uping your knowledge and it will pay off bigger then you give yourself credit for. My parting shot to you is keep learning the above programs and you can make well over a $120,000.00 a year and more. There is no limit on how much you can really make only how much time your willing to put in. Thats how I Roll.... Dont even Trip..

Entry level translates to "we need some work done and don't want to pay much for it."

So, anything from minimum wage up to low 20s.
