I'm not one of her fans but if you look at the drooling eager faces in her studio audience you'll see a generation of lost women who believe they're in need of this celebrity's guidance.Sad isn't it...

Now days it's because she gives away free stuff all the time and she helps people all around the world. She isn't selfish about her money like some of these other celebs that want to be paid certain amounts of money for crappy movies so they can have beaches for backyards.

Her style is braggish as a T.V. personality.
As an actress, she is alright.
She's worth a heck of a lot of dough, and I feel it's all been hyped.
Also has a big magazine called "OH".
Still can't see the aura.

Because she is a sincere person, focuses on the positive. She is an example of someone who worked very hard and went from nothing to a millionaire. She is the American dream.

good question why do people love Oprah? i really don't think shes all that i wrote to her quite some time ago and never gave me the time of day. so what she gives away cars to everyone in the crowd, shoot i never got one .... lol

Cuz she worked hard to get to where she is now.I mean she's worked hard to get to her position.I like her she has sometimes interesting shows.Her appeal is she is humble and very down to earth.And she helps people.Omg Paris Hilton sits on her bony @ss and buys 500$ dresses I don't see you complaing about her.She's better then stupid Paris or Nicole

i'm not really suer.. i used to hate her with a passion but then i started watching it and she really talks about things that i'm interested in.. and shes fun! theres just something about that awesome old black woman that i love! lol... i used to htink she was just some rich stupid self-absorbed time-waster but i just like the things she talks about and.. yea.. i still kinda think that shes a self-absorbed spoiled rich chick, but come on! shes OPRAH! look at all the $ and fans that she has for all these years.. wouldnt you be just a weeee bit stuck up? altho, come to think of it, she really doesnt act stuck up and stuff.. she just prolly is! lol... so yea.. i hope my prolly confusing answer...unconfused you lol
