My only point is that there are numerous sites that are nothing but scams. Avoid them if they try to "sign you up" to use Limewire. You might even try Frostwire.

I personally don't have limewire (for fear of viruses), but my smart friend did something really smart, lol. He used limewire to download limewire pro for free. I know it isn't legal (thats why I'm not doing it), but I'm sure it worked. In the case that they took it down, you can always search limewire pro on bit torrent and download it for free for faster download speeds and more downloads.

If you have a copy of Limewire Basic use it to search for Limewire
Pro just click on programs tab enter Limewire pro and look for something that is around Version 4.12.3 download it save it to file then remove basic and load the pro version it will be totally free and the most up to date version .if you have problems leave in her and i will respond back .let me know how it went

some are free some are not. there are alot of different verisons. You just have to keep going throught them till you find the free one. Also note that my friend downloaded limewire, (cause I told her to, cause I have it) and some hacked her computer right away. She had to strip her computer all the way down. I have not had any problems, Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Yes limewire is free, that site is a little tricky to find, so down at the bottom is a link you can go to get it.

No, it's completely free.
I use it and its' free.
There's one verison of limewire that costs but there should be another one next to it that says "free"
