I agree with the very first answer...
I have stopped picking up my phone and allow the answering machine to pick up because there is a person who REALLY wants to be my friend - I just don't have time for her or her drama! She seems to be getting the point and it isn't hurting feelings when you're not communicating (at all).
Good luck! :)

Well from one Arkansan to another... if htis girl is a complete freak don't be her friend just tell her that u can't be here friend anymore and just tell her the truth but if there is some other reason just still tell her how you feel. I actually have this same problem, this one girl is in my school she had moved for a while then today she came back but nobody likes her though the guys make fun of her and the girls gossip about her behind her back. So maybe she needs a friend so just look at the situation from her side of the string.
Hope it all wors out!
Mandee (a fellow Arkansan!!!!!)

Sorry only one way out of this one.. If you continue to hang out with her you will be miserable, if tell her you dont want to be friends you will hurt her feelings...but she'll get over it.

Just tell her the truth.
Tell her look i don't wont to hurt your feelings, but we have nothing in-common and I'm not looking to make any new friends at this point in my life. Think about it, but your self in her place would you wont to be lied to or told the truth.
Its not what you say its how you say it just say it in a soft voice and be truthful and look at her when you do.

There is no way you wont hurt her, telling her avoiding her it will still hurt her . if she asks tell her , if not leave it and she will get the hint/ hopefully

just start avoiding her but still be friendly don't totally just dismiss her. Once you become distant she'll get the point.

Try being nice to her, and let her down easy. Maybe you should get to know her better, she might not be that bad if you hang around her instead of her hanging around you.
