Squirrels are nesting in a fake dormer in my attic. Is there anything that will repel them away ? Or any homemade traps you can use?

Maybe try a owl replica and fill holes so that they can't get in.

Had the same problem. Left the attic door open so my cat could go up. They didn't stick around after that. Sometimes the local animal shelters or humane society will loan you humane traps for a day or so. I've also heard mothballs work well, and repels skunks too.

Make a Church out of the attic, give the squirrels membership, start asking them to tithe and you will never see them again

Oh my GOD I had a horrible time with them. A pecan tree just outside made for easy forage, and they loaded my house, even procreated up there. I tried: Antifreeze. Sulphur candles. Roach bombs. Ultrasonic (********) repellers. BB gun. Finally, I found where they were coming in and out. I fashioned a "crab-trap" type device around the hole made out of wire mesh--they could get out, but they could not get back in. It worked, though one got stuck in the tube; I freed it, gingerly, and they went away. It was a two-year ordeal. Meanwhile, they were running around, building foodstocks, chewing wires...I went totally crazy.

live capture traps at the tractor supply company with a mixture of peanut butter in the trap on bread just feed them some in the yard till they like that then ship them out i the car to another county or out to a woods or park

believe it or not, if you put a cloth soaked in Aqua Velva aftershave in the attic they will leave. I had squirels in my attic and it works
