why is this website called answers & questions ?
when every one who comes to the website ,ask a question and we give the answer ,so it should be called questions & answers coz calling it >answers & questions is giving a answer befor the question is ask how can we give a answer if we dont know the question?

It's not even called Answers and Questions. It's just called "Yahoo!Answers". It's the place you go to get answers.

I guess its because the main emphasis is on answering questions that some people post.
If you notice. they take away five points away every time you ask a question. However they reward you 2 points for answering a question and 10 points if your answer is chosen the "Best Answer". Heck you even get 1 point just for showing up.

Because for every question asked here, there is an average of 15.7 answers. So many more people answer questions then ask them, hence the name.
