That's easy. I would change it to Matilda. Matilda sounds down to earth, staid, well grounded...sigh...I am anything but. I jabber all the time, and am always humming off key, tell jokes that are not funny....I bounce when I walk, and laugh more than I should.
I hate being Lisa. I want to be Matilda.

I like my name, but I would change the spelling - Terry with a Y to Terri with an I. I made it to states in high school track and since my name was spelled with a Y, I was placed in the boys' dorms. I was okay with that, but my coach argued for hours to have me placed in the girls' dorms. The spelling of my name has caused a lot of confusion in life.

My parents got divorced when I was young and took away my middle name and replaced it with my mom's maiden name and my dad's father's last name (he had a step-dad too...). My last name became my step-dad's last name. SO, if I could change my name it would be my original first and middle with my father's father's last name... the way the blood line intended.
