Hands down it is Rock Star. These guys singer, write, play instruments and actually perform!!! Many of them are established musicians, singers and writers.

I would say American Idol. The singers have to sing a variety of different types of songs whereas on Rock star it's all rock. Which is not a bad thing . It's just limiting in showcasing singing talent other than rock.

Rock-star super Nova! at least the ppl on this show can actually SING. but i find American Idol much more amusing and funny than RockStar super nova! Dont you agree?

I'd say Rockstar because not only to they perform well but they write their songs and not just show off their talent, but perform their songs. It also depends on what type of music you like. I'm more of a rocker, so I'd say Rockstar. If you like more pop songs and stuff like that you'd probably like Idol more. I never really liked the people on Idol but I fell in love with Lukas and Dilana (mostly Lukas) immediatley.
