Columbia is famous for its School of Journalism. Gotham writing courses are advertised all over NYC. NYU (New York University has writing courses I'm sure. There is the College of New York (CUNY) that you should check out, (they say you can get a degree for less money there than other places) There are others as well.. It depends on what kind of money you want to spend on the courses.
