Hi..
A "reoccurring dream", indicates a subconscious message which is being repeated... because it is pertinent to the state of your awareness.... This dream occurs when you are assimilating your experiences in the inner levels of your subconscious mind with awareness.... This assimilation occurs every time you go to sleep, and in fact is one of three major purposes for sleep.... The key here is with awareness meaning you are growing from what you learning.... The problem, which makes the dream a nightmare to you, is the unconscious element from your past which curtails your assimilation....

It would be helpful : to remember what was happening in your "life", when this dream appears.... Identifying major events.. will help shed light on the nature of how the past is unwittingly ruling you now....

I hope, this helps!

Thanks, for the question!;)

My regards!

Current theory would suggest that this is probably the result of an unresolved problem or fear. Have you been bothered by something lately? Have you been through a trauma? Are you approaching an important anniversary or event? All of these might be triggering these dreams. It may also be that you are simply fascinated by something. For example, many people have recurring dreams involving the ability go fly.

I have several reoccurring dreams. I wish I knew a solid reason, but I think it is because that's the way it is. No reason.

I scanned the previous answers and most are correct, although I believe there are several reasons. I have combat PTSD,with one of my symptoms being recurring nightmares. I have taken therapy and attended classes dealing with the significance of this problem, and guess what?? I still have these recurring dreams, but by golly I Know now that all the above plus more cause them. Welcome to the club. rat

When I have recurring dreams, they're always about something that's bothering me or subconciously bothering me. Perhaps you should think deep (and I mean deep!) about what's going on in your life right now and how do these situations make you feel. Sometimes they can be something about the past like events that were significant in your life.

dreams are a mishmash of what your currently thinking about something and events from the past few days. its the brains way of filing everything away, but just that you wake up whilst it's doing it.

Whatever the dreams about, something in your life is going on to do with it!

Because your subconsious mind is trying to tell you something. Keep notes on your dreams and then see if you can find out what they mean
