I believe what I'd take is my pride, dignity, and self respect. However, if this is going to resemble Survivor, or any other "reality" show, it's required that such attributes be abandoned before the ship sails. I think I'll just stay home and watch reruns of The Munsters.

a knife, gotta have one for cutting things and making one of them spear things
a bic lighter, gotta have a fire and i doubt i could make one without a lighter or matches and matches can get wet
hmm now it gets hard cuz there's a zillion other things i'd want and figure i'd need but whatever i took i'd always need something else too.
probably a pan so i could boil water in. yeah i know it sounds stupid but it's kinda hard to cook stuff without one unless you stick it in the fire or something plus the pan could be used for holding water to drink too.

a REALLY big towel...(use it for a blanket and to dry off with)
a hatchet (to cut wood)
& a book...most likely a survivors guide to living in the woods

My pillow, my blanket and my cat....I'll sleep comfortably and let my cat catch all my food...can't live without her...she sleeps on my pillow, paws my blanket at night and shares my meals...she'd be lost without me...I'm sure she'd take care of me if I needed food...LOL yeah right....
