Dr. King believed in equality for everyone. He believed all people should be treated with dignity and respect. This was going on at a time when our country was in great turmoil. With very racist attitudes toward all non-white people. So, the question you need to answer is how are you answering that call. Do you treat people differently because of race, culture. Do you see all people as human beings with the same rights and opportunities. How would you express this. Things have gotten better than that time, however, we still have a very long way to go. It begins with each and everyone of us doing our part by educating ourselves and respecting everyone. All people deserve and desire respect.
