In the current world, no one person can retain all the information necessary to cope and advance. Even with computers, we only have another medium for storage. Education teaches us the methods and provides the tools (alpha numeracy) to acquire knowledge. Without education, we remain unskilled and reliant on other people to tell us what to do, say and think. Lack of education is what let's religious fanatics take over a country.

Education forms, encourage, prepare, and guide the leaders of our future. Imagine our world in the hands of uneducated, ignorant, and unexperienced people. Eduaction is not everything; but an essential part.
