I have properly filed out many rebated and received my money. Lately a few from CompUSA seems to either mysteriously loose my rebate or refuse to send me my money. It's not the money that makes me angry, it’s the fact that they can just refuse to send your money. Can you please point me in the right direction? Trust me I am right about I properly filed out and mailed in my rebates.

Contact the Better Business Bureau. You can also contact the state's attorney general (go on the website to find out how). What they are doing is illegal. Target was sued by a state for "unfair pricing practices" and something that has to do with advertising sale items, but not having enough in their stores to "honor" the price. The term is called "bait and switch" which is luring customers in with the promise of a name brand item on sale for a great price, but then when you go to the store, they don't have it, but will offer you another item at a discount. That is not the item that brought the customer into the store, and regardless of offering them another item on sale, it is not what was advertised. Target's defense was that they offered "rain checks", but the suit claimed that it was not up to the customer to pursue a sale item. The store was offering it, handing out rain checks, and hoping that the customer forgot about the rain check, so they didn't have to honor the rain check.

I know that in WI, Weights and Measures does the monitoring of pricing on the shelves and what the item is sold at. But go on your state's website. I bet you will find out where to go on there.

Good luck!!
