omg. you've just named off all my favorite bands! Also here are a few more that are in that catagory and a few of my other faves All american rejects, Kill Hannah (<
&& I'm not a huge fan of rap or r&b. Some of the stuff is catchy but it's not great and i'd rather listen to rock.
&&I hate how people say that the above named bands aren't considered "rock" or whatever. There's different genres of rock, not just you're heavy metal stuff. I can tell you that that is definitely not pop. I hate pop. Jesse Macartney and britney spears is pop, so no, that is not pop.

MCR is cool, Avenged Sevenfold (in my opinion) is pretty sucky, FOB is okay, The Killers rock (my second fav. band)!!!, White Stripes are super-cool, Billy Talent is okay, never heard of Illscarlett, TBS is okay, I can't stand The Academy Is..., AFI is cool, The Strokes are great, RHCP are pretty good, Green Day is awesome, I don't like Papa Roach, The Raconteurs are alright, never heard if the Matches, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is okay, Yeah Yeah Yeahs (there's no "the", in their name) are my favorite band, and Yellowcard is cool. You'd probably like Panic! At the Disco, I can't stand them, though.

OK, first about R&B and rap. I like some rap, but of course not all of it, but I love R&B. I don't know why so many people dislike it. It's like pop but only better. But I guess you don't listen to pop either, eh? Anyways, from the bands you named I like The Killers, Billy Talent, Taking Back Sunday is OK, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Green Day are kind of in between there, some songs I like, and some I simply can't stand, Papa Roach is OK, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Yellowcard are probably 4 out of 10, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, The Strokes, and Weezer are CRAP. Other bands like that that I don't like are Out of your mouth and Alexisonfire. I also like Incubus, and Kill Hannah, and Garbage too from that kind of bands. Oh, yeah, and Mobile rocks.

I Hate hardcore hip hop.. take the same 10 beats and remix it and get people to buy it..
Sorry but my tastes in Rock are more Hard Rock than Alternative rock like what you listed most of

Fall out Boy = TRASH WOULD BE A COMPLIMENT. THIS BAND IS CRAP.
The Killers = Awesome

AFI = Awesome
The Strokes = YESYESYES.
Red Hot Chili Peppers = So so.

I love green day cos they rock. I think avenged sevenfold, the killers, the strokes, red hot chili peppers, weezer are good. I absolutely hate r'n'b, rap and hip hop but rock is the best!

I definitely dislike rap/hip hop; but I don't care much for a few of those bands either. MCR...yeah sorry I hate them. You left out better bands like Motion City Soundtrack, Alien Ant Farm, or Incubus (just some bands that still sort of fit into the limited genres you selected).
Honestly, I think there is better music out there, even in the mainstream, than most of the bands you picked. But that's just my opinion! :)

I like one or two bands there the rest are sell outs
but to the point i hate rap and hip hop thats not music
music is rock and roll(from the 60's and 70's) and rock and roll is dead
the real music only exist in memories

I'm not a big fan of rap at all, but I'm not really a fan of most of the bands you list either. I'd put many of them into the 'average pop rock' category. It's the sort of stuff I could listen to without going crazy, but I'd prefer something like Pain Of Salvation or Ayreon or Green Carnation instead.
