I've had what I think is a good idea for a book for a little while now, but I just can't find a good way to start it or make it long. I have a good storyline, but...
I need some sort of inspiration whenever I start to write, since I usually have the story figured out.

Write out an outline of the way you would like the story to flow, you can focus on character development, plot and sub-plot developments. Maybe even come up with some plot twists to keep things interesting. Flow the out line from the beginning all the way to the end and try to focus on one line at a time on the outline as you write, it will help you write longer chapters and a longer story. Plus having an outline is a good place to write down plot ideas when you come up with new plot developments especially if they are out of sequence.
