Why do people think words such as poop,fart's and snort my short's are funny?

because the words are not normally used in everyday conversation unless there is a joke or humorous analogy
associated with the conversation. by the way "snort my short's"?
never heard it.

I think they are blunt. there is more polite Way than to say fart, I released gas, or I used the rest room.
